Who We Are

We are a group of former and current scholars of the DAAD with a connection to both Germany and Africa. Our members are either Germans who have spent time in an African university or Africans who have been studying in Germany.

As one of almost 150 official DAAD alumni associations worldwide, we are part of a huge network spanning all continents and carry on the spirit of “change through exchange” for generations following our own scholarships.

Regular Events

Every year we have two regular events, our annual conference in fall about changing interdisciplinary topics with around 70 participants, and a work meeting with around 30 active members, where we do the work to keep our association running.
